After the trip to Wales at the end of August, I thought it would be a good idea to go with a new strategy for this mini break. I decided to use the phrase “Surrender” mentally while I tried to unwind in Skegness.

Compared to the Tenby trip, this was hugely successful. I managed to do way more than I expected. I’m not entirely sure why there was such a difference. But I do try to explain a few things throughout the video. We visited the Seal Sanctuary, the model village, Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe and Chapel St Leonards.

I’m aware that these videos are becomming less about anxiety and more about me just being me, and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing for the channel or not. But hey ho, at least I feel like i’m moving in the right direction. And if it inspires somebody to try and get out today, then it’s more than worth it.

  1. In my opinion this is the most, best progress you've made in a video here, and primarily because of your *attitude*. I promise you that if you continue at this pace and refuse to let yourself get discouraged regardless of how you feel tomorrow, or the next day, you WILL RECOVER from this state. I think the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to continue to push yourself now, continue to build that momentum – you saying you want to go back and do it again is a fantastic sign that you're getting your mindset in the right place (that's what made "such a difference"). And every time you start to doubt or worry, just think how amazing it would be if you were almost fully recovered by the end of the year…which is very possible. I overcame my severe panic disorder in about four months once I started "recovering correctly", basically what you've done in this video. Surrender, surrender…you got this man! And anyone else reading this who is in a similar place!

    Also want to add that I think this kind of video is far more valuable for people suffering from bad anxiety than any of the videos talking about symptoms are…just my two cents.
